Privacy Policy

A practical privacy page for a self-hosted product.

AidiPanel is designed to run on your own server. This page explains the public website data flow and how self-hosted installations differ from website visits.

Privacy-first by product design.

AidiPanel is self-hosted software. The panel runs on your own server and does not require a hosted AidiPanel account to manage your sites.

This Privacy Policy explains how the public AidiPanel website may handle visitor data, and how the AidiPanel software relates to data on your own server.

Data the website may process.

Server and security logsBasic request data may be processed for security, abuse prevention, uptime, debugging, and delivery through the hosting or edge provider.
Theme preferenceThe website may store your light or dark theme preference in your browser local storage. This is not a tracking cookie.
GitHub interactionsIf you open issues, sponsor, star, or interact through GitHub, GitHub processes that activity under its own terms and privacy policy.
Messages you sendIf you contact the project or submit an issue, the information you provide is processed to respond, troubleshoot, or improve the project.

Data inside your AidiPanel installation.

Your websites, databases, backups, logs, users, domains, and server configuration stay on infrastructure you control. The public AidiPanel website does not automatically receive that data from your installation.

If you choose to share logs, screenshots, issue reports, or diagnostics publicly, remove secrets and personal data first.

Sharing and third parties.

The project does not sell personal data. Website delivery, repository hosting, sponsorship, and security features may involve service providers such as hosting infrastructure, Cloudflare, and GitHub, depending on how the site and repository are accessed.

Retention.

Website logs and project communications are kept only as long as needed for security, troubleshooting, legal, or project maintenance purposes. Public GitHub issues remain visible unless they are edited, removed, or moderated through GitHub.

Your choices.

  • You can clear local storage in your browser to remove the saved theme preference.
  • You can avoid posting personal data in public issue reports.
  • You can request changes or removal of project-controlled contact data when applicable.
Not legal advice.

This policy is a practical starting point for the AidiPanel website. Review it with a qualified professional before relying on it for formal compliance.
